What changes can we make to our photos?
When you are in the cart it is possible to change the type of paper, based on the chosen format. Fill-in and Fit-in are described in another faq, correction, which mean contrast and lighting, red eye correction, white borders, advanced settings to change the characteristics  of the single photo and lastly, the bin to eliminate the photo.
How can I be sure that the transaction has been transmitted correctly?
It’s simple. A few moments after making the payment you will receive an email with the details of your order and the amount paid. If you have chosen the option of paying via bank transfer, you will receive the email as soon as your bank transfers the funds.
What do Fill-in and Fit-in mean?
If the image is proportionate and the function  FILL-IN is chosen the printing will fully exploit the chosen support, while, by choosing FIT-IN printing will be done without cutting or deforming the  image, there will be two white borders at the sides which can be easily removed with a cutter.
What type of paper do you use?

No. MyPhotomania guarantees that its service applies all the necessary computer safety precautions to protect the reserved data of its clients regarding the photographic files sent  for printing.
Can I check the quality before printing?
If there are photographs loaded into the cart, a indicator of quality level is visualised alongside them. The quality is indicated by the colours of a traffic light ( green, amber and red) according to the paper format. If the colour is green it means that the file loaded enables us to obtain an optimal print. It is however good practice to check the photos ( focus, colour, etc by viewing them with a computer programme.
What are Megapixels?
Megapixels are a way of expressing the resolution of a digital image. It is calculated by multiplying the pixels of the two sides of the image. For example a file of 1500 by 2000 pixel is equal to 3.0 million pixel, i.e. 3.0 megapixels.
What resolution is necessary to have good prints?
The quality depends on the quantity of pixels in the photo relative to the chosen print format. For example to have an optimal print in format 10x13  a resolution of about 1 megapixel is necessary, for 20x27 an optimal result can be obtained with about  4 megapixel. For more information consult the table on the “Suggestions”.
How should I set my camera to have good prints?
To get maximum print quality it’s necessary to set the camera at the highest resolution ( megapixel) and for cameras which let you set this setting set the resolution in such a way set the resolution in such a way that the photo is compressed as little as possible (e.g. many cameras let you choose between parameters FINE, SUPERFINE and STANDARD: set on FINE or, if present on SUPERFINE).
Can I print a photograph with non standard proportions?
If the photograph has a ratio between the sides different from that of the chosen format, by selecting “FIT-IN”  printing will be done without cutting or deforming the images and consequently at both sides there will be a white border which can be removed later; by choosing the function “FILL-IN” the print will be printed exploiting the chosen support to the maximum, consequently it will be cut horizontally or vertically maintaining the proportions intact.
Why are there print proportions 2:3 and 3:4?
Pictures taken with a digital camera have a ratio between the sides of  3:4 (e.g.. 480 pixel x 640 pixel), vice versa cameras with film of the most common type (format 35mm) and some digital reflex produce images with a ratio between the sides of 2:3. This difference makes it necessary to offer print formats for both proportions.
What formats are accepted for printing?
You can send and print photo files in format JPG, the compressed format in which digital cameras normally save images.
